You know one of those weekends that you can't stop smiling about and want to repeat again and again? It was one of those.
I got to spend the whole of last weekend with my friends and we went out on Friday for our friends 19th birthday, and then to a music festival for the whole of Saturday called Colour Clash in Newport.
For those of you who don't know what Colour Clash is, it's basically a festival with lots of acts playing and there's a fair ground kinda thing with some rides and stalls... OH, and everyone gets covered in powder paint.
They had acts like Tom Zanetti, Sweet Female Attitude, Shy FX, J Hus, Sigma, Blazin Squad and more there and let me just say. It was fucking class.
It was your typical festival vibe with a queue longer than your list of hopes n dreams for the lil porta-loos that you didn't want to be in for longer than about 8 seconds, and a crazy swarm for the overpriced bar, but let's be honest don't we all still love it anyway?
I decided to be super 'extra' with my makeup because there is no time like the present when it comes to uber over-the-top glittery makeup, so why not eh?
I posted pics on my Insta so a couple of you may have already seen (I say this hopefully) but oh LORD glitter is fun.
I was super proud of my makeup even if it did take me almost 2 hours to do (because of course I was whining about how it wouldn't go right and my DAMN UNDER EYE CIRCLES WOULDN'T GO AWAY but all of life's problems can be fixed with a bit or a lot of glitter so life was good again.
Ahhh, glitter, my old friend, you know where it's at x
By the end of the afternoon I was covered in powder paint (candid), partly of which I have my good friend Billie to blame for for nearly blinding me with purple paint. You're lucky I love you gal.
Seriously though, I had the best time and couldn't have imagined spending it with better people.
LIFE IS TOO SHORT OKAY <333
