Back at it again with the pre-scheduled posts
Ahhh while this post is up I'll be sat on a sunny beach sipping cocktails and... wearing all of these products. I don't know about you but I cannot stand the feeling of heavy makeup when it's so hot my whole body feels like it's melting; I do not need my face melting as well.
(Side note - just as I'm writing this the post man has come with a parcel for me, praise the lord for overdrafts boo. If you ever wanna be convinced to spend money that you don't really have, swing my way)
Starting off with the Rimmel BB Cream in Light - I first bought this BB cream a few years ago and loved how it gave coverage but it wasn't cakey; it was just enough to cover up some discolouration on my face. It has a matte finish which I'll be honest I'm not the craziest fan of when it's hot outside, but ya gal can work with it. For me personally, taking a thick foundation on holiday isn't my style, so this will be great to even out my skin, even out the appearance of pores and smooth my skin. OH, and it's got SPF15 in it so sun, come at me.
I literally have been loving the LA Girl Pro Conceal in the shade Porcelain, it's so bloody cheap for a start (you can get them on Amazon or Beauty Bay), but it also covers up my dark circles really well, - and believe me when I say I have dark circles - it blends out perfectly with a beauty blender, and it doesn't crease under my eyes. Ticks my boxes.
The Milani Baked Blushes are all so pretty it makes me want to cry - they're pretty underrated considering they have really nice pigment so you really do need a small amount. I got the shade Luminoso which is definitely the most popular shade among the blogging/YouTube community (shock, "YouTube made me buy it") - it's a nice peachy coral that will look good on nearly every skin tone.
Ahhh Too Faced, I do love you. Although I've only got a few things by them, I'm so annoyed at myself that I didn't try their products sooner. The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is probably my favourite bronzer that I've tried, it's matte so can work to contour or bronze up your face, it blends really well so you won't look like you've been smacked with an orange brick (not cute), and holy shit I will never get bored of the fact that it smells like chocolate. Literal. Chocolate.
The Too Faced Love Lights Prismatic Highlighters have such cute packaging I could just look at it. Let's be real - who's not a sucker for nice packaging? I got the Ray of Light highlighter which is the pinkier shade. I wouldn't say this is so much of a HOLY-SHIT-I-CANT-SEE-IVE-BEEN-BLINDED highlight, but it's definitely got a good amount of glow to it, it's just a more natural daytime highlight rather than one with chunky glitter, it swear to god it's so buttery I'm obsessed.
Now we're onto the blinding highlight, ohhhhh boys. The Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops are incredible. I don't think I've ever seen such a crazy highlight from the tiniest amount of product. Don't get me wrong, this liquid highlighter isn't necessary as it's pretty pricey, but I'm obv extra so I'm in love. Celestial is a shimmery pearly shade which looks great on pale skin. I use it over the top of foundation as a highlight on my cheekbones, browbones, and a tinsy winsy bit on my nose, dabbing it in with either my finger or a beauty blender. Oh, but you can also mix this into a matte foundation to make it more glowy, voila.
It's not even a slight shock that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is coming on holiday with me, I cannot live without this stuff. Seriously, if you only take buy one brow product that costs over £10, please let it be this, I cannot stress enough how bomb this makes my eyebrows look - you need the slightest bit (I like to dip my brush in the pot and then wipe both sides on the edge of the jar so it's all distributed nicely, which also stops it from being too heavy when you first touch it to your brow - you're welcome). I'm currently using the shade Caramel but I also have Chocolate. Yeah, I'm extra.
I don't even have to say much about the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I got the black one because I prefer darker mascaras. It's super volumising, separates all my lashes and makes them look really long (and I have the stumpiest lightest eyelashes possible). It's also perfect for my bottom lashes as it doesn't clump at all. Ahhh I do love mascara.
Probably my favourite makeup product to wear other than my eyebrows is eyeliner. I frickin' love eyeliner. Like no other. Even though I'm not going to be wearing eyeliner every day on holiday I'd feel like I was betraying the Loreal Superslim Eyeliner if I didn't bring it along. It's the only thing I've been using for a while since I love its brush tip nib - it makes it so so easy to draw a lil fleeky flick on my eyes, and you can go as thick or thin as you want.
And that is itttt for my holiday makeup picks, I did a whole post on the lipsticks that I'm bringing which you can read here if you haven't already.
SUN, I AM READY FOR U.
